JOB OPPORTUNITIESThe Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Child Protection & Welfare Commission requires applications from suitable candidates to fill the following vacancies in Child & Adolescent Protection Program (funded by UNICEF), for various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, purely on contract basis/fixed pay (conditional to: (i) duration & terms of Agreement & (ii) funding under assistance program by UNICEF).
1. Child Protection Officers (Total=2 positions: one each for Kohat & Abbottabad)
(1) Master degree in social science or equivalent. (2) 3 years of practical experience in the field of child protection, or rights based work. (3) Good interpersonal communication skills. (4) Report writing and documentation skills (5) Well prone in coordination and networking (6) Must have the confidence, initiative, patience and integrity to work independently (7) Knowledge of local area and language (8) should be flexible in working days and timings.
2. Communication & Advocacy Officer
(1 position for Female based at Peshawar):
(1) Master’s degree in Social sciences/English/Journalism
(2) Good interpersonal communication skills (3) Report writing and documentation skills (4) Well prone in coordination and networking (5) Must have the confidence, initiative, patience and integrity to work independently (6) Knowledge of local area and language (7) Should be flexible in working days and timings
3. Psychologists (3 positions for Females; one each for Abbottabad, Kohat & Swat)
(1) Master degree in Psychology. (2) Fluency in English/local language required. (3) Extensive experience providing psychotherapy to adults, children, families and groups. (4) Understanding of and experience implementing culturally appropriate mental health interventions, including individual, group and community-based approaches for people who have suffered torture and trauma. (5) Experience providing training and sensitization on the effects of trauma and armed conflict. (6) Knowledge of local area and language (7) should be flexible in working days and timings
4. Social Workers (3 Positions For Females: one each for Buner, Swat, Mardan)
(1) B.A/BSc degree from a recognized University. Preference will be given to Master degree holders or equivalent. (2) 2 years of Practical experience in the field of child protection, or right based work. (3) Good interpersonal communication skills. (4) Report writing and documentation skills. (5) Well prone in coordination and networking (6) Must have the confidence, initiative, patience and integrity to work independently (8) Knowledge of local area and language (9) Should be flexible in working days and timings

CONSULTANCY REQUIREDA recognized engineering concern dealing in sheet Metal Parts manufacturing & finishing currently requires service of an Engineering Consultant organization
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Must be able to design a finishing line with its mechanical, electrical, controls and chemicals peripheries as per requirement of the set-up
2. Must be able to test, evaluate and advice on any existing system
3. Must be able to design, refurbish, up-gradation of existing set-up to improve production efficiency and quality
Shortlisting Requirements:
1. Focal Person Engineer Minimum Engineering Bachelor Degree
2. Minimum Experience in the related field: 15 Years
3. Understanding of pace and characteristics of a production environment
4. Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction REPORTS
1. To furnish complete technical report.
2. To furnish feasibility report: potential for growth, SWOT analysis, financial and operational feasibility.
3. To furnish market report, marketing strategy and identify competitors and working partners.
4. Provide a complete cope of works/repairs/replacement and price estimations with complete details in a cost effective manner.
5. To identify and suggest mode of operations, HR requirements, and financial flows of operations.

Proposals should be submitted in two separate envelops clearly indicating technical documents and financial bids. Interested parties must submit all required details at following address indicated by 30th July, 2013 till 1200 hours.
